Seasonal prices
Prices are for the whole villa per night, for up to 4 guests. Each additional guest is +€30 per night (up to 8 people). The dates are the nights – the evenings you sleep at the villa.

What’s included in the price
Payment & cancellation
By card online
You pay the full amount when booking, through the secure Stripe payment system. You receive a confirmation by email straight away.
If you have a voucher code, enter it when booking.
By bank transfer
If you prefer a bank transfer, contact us before booking – we will hold the dates and send you the payment details. The full amount is paid, and the booking is confirmed once it is received.
Check-in & check-out
House rules
We created the villa for completely private use – no hosts to greet you or disturb your peace. That is why we ask for a little care:
Children and safety
The villa is completely self-contained – there are no staff, lifeguards or cooks. You are in charge of the house, so looking after children around the hot tub, stairs and terraces is entirely your responsibility. Young children must be supervised at all times.
Hot tub
Put the cover back on after use – this keeps the water clean and hot. Without the cover the hot tub cannot hold its temperature.
Sauna
The sauna has a power button and a light button. We recommend 75–80°C. Shoes and flip-flops are not allowed inside.
Fireplace
Do not put too much wood in at once – the TV above the fireplace can overheat and be damaged. Firewood is provided.
Gas barbecue
Close the valve on the gas bottle after each use.
Awnings and umbrella
The motorised awnings are controlled with the two remotes by the fireplace. Do not open them in heavy rain, snow or wind, and retract them after use. The garden umbrella must be closed when it is windy.
Garden and outdoor furniture
The cushions for the outdoor furniture are kept inside the house in the marked places. If it rains, please bring them in and cover the sofas with the special covers.
Smoking
Smoking inside the house is not allowed – there is a fire alarm system with smoke detectors. Smoking is allowed on the terraces and in the garden.
Pets
Pets are not allowed.
CCTV
There are cameras in the garden for security purposes only. There are no cameras inside the villa.
Behaviour and damage
We expect guests to look after the house as if it were their own and to respect the peace of the village. Damage caused during the stay is charged at the actual cost of repair or replacement.
Getting here
The road runs through some of the most beautiful scenery in the Rhodopes – past reservoirs and mountain views. It has been renovated and is in excellent condition, with a moderate number of bends.
From Sofia (~3 h)
- Trakia motorway to the Tsalapitsa exit
- Krichim and the village of Mihalkovo (spring with sparkling mineral water)
- Past the Tsankov Kamak reservoir
- The sign for Shiroka Laka – the villa is a 3-minute walk from the centre and the architectural reserve
Parking
The parking is right below the house, about 10 metres from the entrance. If you are a confident driver, you can drive your luggage up the cobbled lane to the door and then park.

Can I change my dates after booking?
A change of dates is possible only with our approval and subject to availability. Write to us as early as possible.
What happens if I cancel?
Once a booking is made, the amount paid is not refunded.
Is early check-in possible?
Depending on availability and for an extra charge. Please write to us in advance.
Is late check-out possible?
Check-out until 18:00 is possible depending on availability, for an extra charge. Please write to us in advance.
Is there a shop in the village?
Yes – Shiroka Laka has shops where you will find almost everything, even ice. If you love grilling, we recommend buying the meat on the way.
Do I need to buy water?
No need – the drinking water in Shiroka Laka is excellent. On the way, in the village of Mihalkovo, there is also a spring with sparkling mineral water.
